Join us for the best night each week at Northwest! Come for just a part or for the whole night - 5:00 pm Confession/Rosary (Chapel), 5:30 pm Mass (Chapel), 6:00 pm FREE dinner (Main Area), 7:15 pm Ultimate Frisbee (Bearcat Stadium) or just hang at Newman. The home cooked meals that pass through our kitchen are some of the best food you can find on campus. Come laugh, pray, talk, and eat with us!
RETREATS AND MISSION TRIPS
Throughout the school year, students are given the opportunity to travel and participate in various retreat opportunities, such as Camino and Men's and Women's retreats, Spring Break trips, and more. Click here to find out more.
BIBLE STUDIES
Men's and Women's weekly small group Bible studies meet at various times and locations to grow in faith and fellowship. Talk to a FOCUS missionary or stop by Newman for more info!
NEWMAN SPORTS
Newman attends Bearcat sporting events, including road trips, together. We play ultimate frisbee at 7:15 pm on Wednesdays at Bearcat Stadium Football Field. Newman also has several intramural sports teams. Contact Holly Modlin at (816) 859-9066 for more information.
MEN'S AND WOMEN'S HOUSING
Frassati (men's) and Guadaloupe (women's) houses are where a limited number of Catholic men and women affiliated with the Newman center live together. As each resident shares the love of the Catholic faith, they grow in virtue with one another and expand their knowledge in their faith journeys. FANNING THE FLAME
Join us at 4 pm each Wednesday in the "Upper Room" at Newman to learn more about prayer and pray for our Newman Center, our campus, and the salvation of the whole world. We also pray for a greater outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our lives and a closer relationship with Jesus in His Church. Truly a backbone of our mission, come check it out!
